Grace Hotels commissioned Yiorgos Kordakis’s to create a photographic celebration of the island of Calliste (Santorini) and his work is recognised as one of the most incredible observations of this iconic island. Hephaestus, the Greek god of craftsmen, was intrinsically connected with Yiorgos’s work through the title he selected and the simple, timeless architecture and craftsmanship he observed on the island itself, and this required the exclusive VIP presentation box containing prints of all Yiorgos’s work to be absolutely flawless.
A rigid box construction, wrapped in luxury papers with hidden magnetic closures ensured the precious, limited edition prints were secure and protected. The super deluxe cotton paper selected for the prints ensured optimal reproduction of the beautiful images, with foils, embossing and a discreet ribbon adding the final details to a most memorable and collectable production.
